Sharvon and I have not been that good at keeping up with this project at all! We’re going to pick up on the inspiration again and this time we’re for real! Thanks for the ones contributing to our idea in the beginning!

We will do as we did before - receive inspirational quotes once a month and work out of one we chose together!

So the askbox is open for all the inspirational quotes, pictures, songs etc that you want to challenge us with! Let’s go and do this again. Please do reblog this post so more people will know about the idea - and maybe even join?

This is my short film of the month’s quote, “…and the beat goes on.” Before the holidays I was very busy with school and work, I went from being taken care of to having to take care of everything myself. It’s a part of growing up - having a lot of responsibilities. And with this responsibility comes a lot of complaining and whatnot. Still, my heartbeat goes on and on and it’s the reason why I get things done. Because I’m alive.

Here’s my film for this month’s challenge “…and the beat goes on.” As I embark on a new year and a lot of personal changes, this quote led me to think about what I need to do to push forward. To let go of the past and to not view set backs as defeat. To believe in myself and what I’m capable of doing with my life. I combined a short freewrite, that came from that introspection, with my visual interpretation. I hope you enjoy!
